The short version
- This website doesn't set cookies or use ad trackers.
- If you request a pilot, we store what you type in the form, so we can reply to you.
- The live demo keeps its data in your own browser. Nothing you enter in the demo is sent to us.
- We delete pilot requests within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
Who we are
This website is run by CartReady, which makes fleet maintenance software for golf carts and resort vehicles. For anything about your data, email privacy@getcartready.com.
What we store when you request a pilot
When you send the pilot form, we store:
- your work email, property name and approximate fleet size;
- your name, only if you choose to give it;
- the date and time of the request;
- a one-way keyed hash of your IP address. We never store the IP address itself. We use the hash to limit how many requests one network can send per hour, and it's kept with your request.
- whether our notification email about your request was sent.
The form includes a hidden field that people don't see. If it's filled in (usually by spam bots), the request is discarded and nothing is stored.
Service providers
We use two providers to run this website. They handle data for us to provide their service.
- Cloudflare hosts the website (Cloudflare Pages), runs the small server code behind the pilot form and the demo and pilot buttons (Pages Functions), and stores pilot requests in its D1 database. It also provides the Turnstile spam check and Web Analytics described below. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site. - Resend sends us one email for each new pilot request, to the CartReady team inbox, so we can reply to you. The email contains your work email, property name, fleet size, name (if given), a request id and the time. It doesn't include the IP hash. Your email address is set as the reply-to address. Nobody else gets your details, and we don't sell or share them.
Spam protection
The pilot form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a request comes from a person. Turnstile runs in your browser from Cloudflare's own domain and looks at technical signals such as your IP address and browser details. Our server then asks Cloudflare whether the check passed, and gets back only a pass or fail. We don't send your IP address with that question. Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum
Button clicks and analytics
When you click "Try Live Demo" or "Request a Pilot", we count the click by button and position on the page (for example, "demo, header"). The count isn't linked to you, your device or your IP address.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how quickly pages load. Cloudflare adds its small analytics script to our pages for this. It doesn't use cookies, and we see only totals (such as page views, referring sites and countries), not individual visitors.
Where data is stored
Pilot form data is stored with Cloudflare in the United States (in a D1 database in Cloudflare's North America location). Notification emails are sent through Resend's US region.
How long we keep it
We delete pilot requests, and our copies of the notification emails, within 12 months, or sooner if you ask. The hourly rate-limit counters (hashed, no IP addresses) are deleted automatically once they're more than an hour old, the next time anyone sends the form.
During a pilot
The pilot itself follows the pilot terms on our home page: a 90-day free pilot, and when it ends we export your data to you or delete it, your choice.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email privacy@getcartready.com from the address you used, and we'll take care of it. We aim to respond within 30 days.
